You're Doing a Good Job, Momma
Dear Mommas: There's no way you can fail at giving this Christmas season. You give from the moment you get out of bed. Maybe it's by washing dishes. Maybe it's by spending a minute with your husband or babes before they walk out the door. It could look like cleaning out the fridge. Answering a phone call from a friend. Sending an "I'm thinking about you" text. Maybe it's a bedtime story, making beds, picking up toys, or taking our the trash. But please, if you remember one thing from us at The Giving Manger this season - we want you to remember that this is meant to help you recognize how much you ALREADY give. You give all day long, in small ways and very big ways, and we want to celebrate those things this season. It doesn't have to be a "give yourself a pat on the back" kind of way, but more of a "You're doing a good job, momma" kind of way. It's a privilege to raise babes, and it also allows for a lot of space to give. Celebrate the giving you're already doing and go put a piece of straw in that manger.
